Often finding myself inspired by other forms of art, the name Juliet in White was inspired by a particular scene from the 90's adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet by Aussie power couple, film director Baz Luhrmann and production designer Catherine Martin.
Luhrmann’s adaptation with it’s edgy neon aesthetic juxtaposed with Shakespeare’s original language is eye candy, even without the addition of Leo.
The particular scene in question that Martin created so beautifully is Juliet’s bedroom where candles and angels frame an inncocent moment in a love story that has stolen hearts and minds for over 400 years.
