The Story Goes ...
1586 - A woman was born to a once noble family and grew up beautiful enough to be a problem.
The suitors came. She cut off her hair. They kept coming, so she rubbed peppers into her skin.
Her parents refused to let her enter a convent. She took her vows anyway, in the garden of their house, and never left it.
A woman who would not marry, would not obey, and would not ask for permission. The Inquisition came to her door. They decided she wasn't the devil.
She grew flowers in that garden and sold them to feed her family. She died at thirty-one.
Society made her a saint. We see a woman who lived on her own terms.

Behind The Brand
Founded in 2019 by creative director Belinda Smith. Smith was raised in the untamed landscapes of rural Australia where her earliest memories are inseparable from scent — sun-warmed earth, wildflowers, eucalyptus carried on the air.
Later fragrance became a way to carry home across oceans, and then, a means to create what she couldn’t find - perfumes that honor nature without sacrificing artistry or performance.
